Product Overview

Hydrant bodies are epoxy-painted in the shop after machining, then cured in the oven before they go out for substation and roadside fire protection. Two models - SS100/65 and SS150/80 - cover inlet DN100 or DN150 with outlet DN65 or DN80, each flanged to the buried main.

A booking starts at thirty pieces, and the invoice lands between US $65 and US $1,000 depending on model. The flange at the base bolts onto the buried riser, so a municipal fire crew stands the hydrant up, connects two hoses and pressures the line without a threaded transition.

Key Features

The epoxy coat carries the above-ground body through road salt and yard weathering, and the base flange lets a crew unbolt the whole hydrant for a main repair without digging it out. DN100/DN150 inlet matches the typical buried main; DN65/DN80 outlet matches the standard fire-hose connection a brigade connects on scene.

Each body gets a wet-bench flow test, a YH stamp on the bonnet, and plastic caps on the outlets. Between the two models and the two outlet sizes, a roadside rebuild specs the whole site on one product line.
