Product Overview

Sprinkler crews saddle these grooved mechanical tees onto an existing ductile iron main to drop a 90-degree branch to a riser. The body is QT450-10 to ASTM A536, hot-dip galvanized after machining, with an EPDM gasket bedded in the saddle seat.

Working pressure covers Pn10 and Pn16 across the range. A single tee books as the entry, and FOB is quoted against the main size and branch bore on enquiry.

Key Features

Saddle-clamp design means a branch drops onto a live main while the grid is in service, no tube cut out and no shutdown. The hot-dip galvanized skin suits an exposed yard loop or a parking-deck riser that sees rain and de-icing salt.

After casting, each body is pickled, galvanized, and the saddle faces machined to sit flat on the main; the EPDM gasket is bedded in at assembly and the bolt set torqued to spec on the bench. Clean water, fire and circulating water service are the usual homes, and a fitter can pull a whole saddle range from one lot, each crated with the bolt set included.
