Office risers carry a pressure problem a plain valve cannot solve: the long vertical run spikes pressure on the upper floors. The regulating hydrant valve - SQS100 or SQS150, DN65, 1.6 MPa - holds outlet pressure steady instead. Office towers run long risers, and the top floors feel the surge first.

On the test bench each regulator is set, cycled and re-checked so the outlet reading holds against inlet swing, then the setting is sealed. Thirty pieces open a building order; FOB runs US $5 to $50 per valve.

Key Features

Flange or thread ends match how the riser terminates at each floor cabinet, and the regulating function keeps outlet pressure even rather than letting basement pressure ride upstairs. A floor warden opening a cabinet finds the same outlet force near the roof as at the ground floor.

Office building fire protection is the stated duty, and the valve stays behind the cabinet door where a floor warden can reach it. Regulator settings are sealed with a lead tag, and tested units are bag-wrapped before the carton goes on the pallet.
