Product Overview

Raw water and sludge lines between screens, clarifiers and pump stations - that is where this seamless carbon steel pipe goes. The billet is pierced, the shell is cold-drawn to size, then saw-cut to 6 m lengths and bevelled at the ends.

Outside diameter 6 to 630 mm, wall 1 to 50 mm. The mill builds to ASTM A312, ASTM A213, GB/T 14976, ISO2531, EN545 and GB/T 13295, and every length runs a hydrotest before it leaves the test stand.

One piece is enough to order. FOB settles in the US $1,000 to $2,500 band per length, and small municipal spares buys go out from stock rather than the production queue.

Key Features

Round seamless section - no weld seam to inspect in the sludge line. After hydrotesting, the length gets a primer coat, the ends are capped, and the pipe is bundled with dunnage so the ocean voyage does not scuff the coating.

A municipal EPC usually sends the line spec first: the OD and wall are chosen off that spec, and the bundle ships with the mill certificate listing heat number and the standards it was tested to. Water, gas and oil piping all take the same tube family.
