Factory drainage lines carry process wastewater to treatment units - round galvanized steel pipe, chosen because the zinc coat stands up to outdoor channel runs that black steel would not.

The welded tube goes through the galvanizing bath, then the ends are prepared: plain, threaded, grooved or bevelled, per the joint the designer picked. Built to GB/T 3091, ASTM A53, BS1387 and EN10255.

One piece opens an order. FOB quotes land in the US $680 to $1,500 band per length.

Key Features

End prep is the part to get right. Threaded ends are gauged with a ring gauge before crating; grooved ends get a visible check; bevelled ends are wiped clean for welding. A plant engineer sends the drainage flow rate first, and the store recommends the OD so the pipe ties into the existing drain network without a reducer halfway.

Bundles are strapped with dunnage, the galvanized skin is brushed clean at the ends, and caps go on threaded runs so dust and rain do not sit in the bore during the ocean leg. Industrial wastewater packages usually ship straight to the plant's laydown yard, where the site crew lifts them straight into the trench.
