Product Overview

Split a buried water main into two branches off one casting, and that is the three-way socket fitting the municipal contractor asks for. QT450-10 ductile iron to ISO 2531, DN80 to DN600, socket push-on with rubber ring gasket, rated Pn10, Pn16 or Pn25 across K9, C30 and C40 wall classes.

At the trench, the spigot pushes into the bell, the gasket compresses, and the branch line ties in without a welder. Outside, the body is zinc-sprayed then bitumen-dipped for burial; inside, an epoxy red liner covers potable service. The water department names the take-off sizes, and the casting is poured to match. Entry lot is two hundred pieces, FOB band runs US $6 to $8.5 per fitting.
