Product Overview

Press-formed carbon steel 90-degree elbows are packed for process lines carrying corrosive media. The body is carbon steel matched to the line wall, and the ends come butt-welded, threaded or socket-welded so a process contractor picks the form the draft calls out. The bend is normalized after pressing, so the welder lands a square root pass without spring-back.

A chemical feed line, a pump discharge and a process manifold all turn a corner with this bend. Entry sits at ten pieces, and the piece invoice runs from US $2 up to US $150 depending on bore and end form.

Key Features

Butt-weld ends go straight into the weld procedure; threaded ends sample the instrument loop; socket-weld ends seal the small branches a screwed joint does not cover. The carbon body is the base metal where the line itself is carbon steel with a specified wall, and the mill finish is what the coating spec builds on.

Each batch is pickled, oiled, and stenciled with the heat number. The YH mark is rolled on the outer curve, and the carton is labelled with bore and end form so the fab shop does not reorder twice.
