Product Overview

A maintenance crew at the clarifier walkway slings one grating panel across a channel and tests it with a boot before stepping on. This is the wet side of a treatment works - condensation, backwash spray, a damp atmosphere off the tanks.

The ductile iron skin is galvanized for exactly that air. Stock panel 1.22 by 3.66 m, openings from 10x10 up to 50x50 mm, fine anti-slip tread at one end of the range and a heavier drainage opening at the other. A panel drops across a channel or a tank access to give the crew safe footing between clarifier visits.

FOB sits US $1.9 to $10 per panel, and the minimum booking is ten pieces.

Key Features

Galvanized ductile iron takes the place of a plain steel grate on a wet walkway. It does not rust through the way black bar grating does, and it carries foot traffic without flexing the way a thinner pressed panel would.

Openings are sized to the channel load and the drain debris the works collects. Custom mesh is drawn up against the plant drawing before the saw line cuts a bundle to length.
