Product Structure and Working Principle
The Forged Steel Spring Loaded Check Valve features an integrally forged steel valve body with a built-in spring mechanism and a disc assembly. When fluid flows in the forward direction, the medium pressure pushes the disc upward against the spring force, allowing full flow through the valve. When the flow reverses or stops, the spring immediately pushes the disc back onto the seat, creating a tight seal that prevents backflow. The spring-assisted closing action is fast and reliable, significantly reducing water hammer effects and protecting downstream equipment such as pumps, meters and pressure gauges.
