Frame Grate Set

This matched frame and drain grate unit is widely used in outdoor drainage works. You can see it on footpaths, community green belts, car parks and city road drainage points. Every frame and grate pair is pre-fitted and adjusted before leaving our factory. Once laid on the pavement, it can stop rainwater pooling on the ground and stop leaves, stones and rubbish blocking underground pipes. It holds up well year after year no matter wind, rain or high temperature outdoors.

We keep square and round versions in regular stock. Inner clear sizes from 300mm up to 800mm can be shipped right away. If your project has special drawing requirements, we can produce custom sizes as well. The drain slots are set based on real site construction needs. Uniform overall dimensions make installation quick for workers, and broken pieces can be swapped out easily later. It fits almost all standard drain well openings on the market.

The hollowed surface is made to drain water fast while catching larger waste items so they do not wash down the drains. When locked into the outer frame, the grate will not rock, sink or pop up under pressure. Pedestrians walking over it or small cars rolling across create little noise. It can cope with all seasonal weather outdoors without easy breakage or distortion.

Many buyers buy frames and grates separately, which often leads to poor fit, loose lids and tripping hazards. Our full matching set avoids these fitting issues entirely. The robust structure resists heavy loads and bending, so it lasts far longer than cheap alternatives. Installation does not need complicated tools, which saves plenty of labour hours on site. For contractors placing bulk orders, it brings really good value for money.

High strength ductile iron is chosen as the main material, tough against wear, weight pressure and rust. Normally we coat it with bitumen paint for basic anti-corrosion. For seaside or constantly damp locations, hot dip galvanised finish is an upgrade choice. Each piece gets wrapped separately for protection. Small orders go into strong cartons, while bulk sea shipments use solid wooden cases to prevent knocks and scratches during long transit, so goods arrive in good condition overseas.
